Our Story

Sunflower of Peace was founded in response to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. Our current mission is dictated by the dark realities of Russia's full-scale, brutal invasion: we work to empower Ukrainians to survive and withstand the grave challenges of this war by fulfilling their medical, humanitarian, and psychological needs.

Through a strong network of partners and volunteers, despite logistical difficulties, we have successfully transported critical supplies to combat zones.

Ambulances
and Evacuation Efforts

Thanks to our donors, we have been able to provide ambulances for evacuation and emergency care. These vehicles, modified for battlefield conditions, ensure wounded defenders receive timely medical attention. Each ambulance delivered means more lives saved and more defenders given a chance to survive and return home.

Packing IFAKs in Ukraine

On the ground in Ukraine, our teams pack Individual First Aid Kits (IFAKs) to be distributed to medics and defenders. These kits contain essential items like tourniquets, hemostatic gauze, and chest seals, all crucial for treating battlefield injuries. Every kit helps ensure that medics on the frontlines have the tools they need to act quickly and save lives.

~30 tons of medical supplies

have been delivered from the US to Ukraine since 2022

12   ambulances

including 2 armored, were delivered to the front lines since 2022

~10k  IFAKs

have been provided to Ukrainian medics and defenders since 2022

Providing Humanitarian Aid

Beyond medical aid, we provide humanitarian support, including food and clothing for displaced families. Our energy program aims to mitigate the effects of war-related energy disruptions and Russia's callous targeting of civilian infrastructure. We identify, procure, and distribute different types of generators to civilians in need. $100k+ in grants has been awarded to organizations serving IDPs and vulnerable populations affected by war since 2022

3600  households ensured access to water, heat, and electricity
