Delivering Rescue Robots to the Frontlines This Giving Tuesday
On today’s front lines in Ukraine, the most dangerous part of saving a wounded defender is often reaching them. Medics run into open fields under fire, knowing that every rescue mission could cost them their own lives.
This Giving Tuesday, we’re changing that.
Sunflower of Peace is partnering with Ukrainian engineers to bring evacuation robots — remote-controlled rescue vehicles — to frontline medics. These robots drive into active fire to evacuate the wounded without putting another human being in danger.
These machines are built in Ukraine and they can:
• travel under gunfire where people cannot
• carry a wounded defender to safety, along with critical medical supplies
• operate day or night, with night-vision technology
And because the battlefield is unpredictable, the armored capsule is designed to absorb blasts from mines or drone-dropped explosives, protecting the wounded person inside.

Most of these robots are built in Ukraine by volunteer engineers and funded entirely through donations.
Each evacuation robot costs $7,000.
